Karma treats

This weekend was the exciting (dreaded?) UVA vs. VA Tech football game.

...it did not go well.

My mother-in-law and I thought we might change the karma by giving Pants a football treat.

She was happy to oblige.

Unfortunately, we didn't think to give her a plate.

That's ok. She managed to use Daddy's backpack.

Unfortunately.....the treat did not help us in the game. At all. Pants was clearly disappointed, but somehow managed to feign indifference.

Thankful

No caption contest today - just want to take a minute to thank you all for reading and for loving our little Pants.

It's the end of another busy week! I am pleased to announce that Miss Lisa N. has dethroned Auntie A this week with her excellent caption. Thanks, as always, for participating.

Well, for the 2nd week in a row, the winner of this week's Caption Contest takes the crown with an eerily perfect caption to go along with Pants' mood this week. And that winner is.....JESSICA!

As you can see, she has been very dramatic about the temperature of our apartment, and not only insisted on her own sweater and blanket...

but also decided that she needed them for the walk to eat dinner.

Drama queen much? We get the point, Pants.

Here is Pants in all of her ferocious-dragon glory! Sorry for the less-than-ideal pictures....unusually she was not in a modeling mood on Saturday. But we were impressed that the costume stayed on all night. What do you think?
